Alright, time to write a new journal. I haven't written one in such a long time, so it's time to keep my few watchers up to date on what I'm doing.

For starters, I'm now going to a Folk High School en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Folk_hig… where I'm studying photography. It's awesome!
We have three professional (and great) photographers as teachers, and a lot of equipment (over 30 Macs, a fully equipped studio, darkroom, photo scanners and printers, a library with a lot of great books from awesome photographers). I just love it there!

And yeah, I've bought a few new cameras. I switched out my D50 with a D200. And I've started to use my dad's Pentax ME Super (whom I broke, but I'm buying a new on this February), a Holga and during the Christmas I bought myself a Rolleiflex 3,5F.

I haven't gotten it yet, but I can't wait until I get it. It will be great!

And yeah, my school is far up north in Norway. It takes me 12 hours to get there (train, plane, then bus). It's as long it takes me to fly to Bismarck, ND, USA. Anyway, the place is called Lofoten. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lofoten
It's above the Arctic Circle, so we haven't had any sun since December 6th (I'm glad I've been home during Christmas, so that I've actually seen the sun). And yeah, Lofoten is supposed to be one of the most beautiful places on earth, according to National Geographic or something. And it really is! I love that place! It's awesome. Just awesome!

Ok, I've went away from digital photography for a while. It's strange actually, since I've been working a lot with Photoshop. But now I'm just sick of it. I'm strictly into film photography for now (and probably even more when I get my Rolleiflex). Believe me, when you take a film with an old camera, develop it yourself, go into the darkroom and get a really nice print out that after hours of work and chemical smells - that's photography.

I've worked a lot this Xmas. I've actually only had 4 days off. But it's okay! Xmas is not important to me! I'm not religious, and I think everything is just going out of hand. So I've worked, and earned a lot of money. So the end of February, I'm going back to Prague with some friends from my school, to take a lot of street and portraits there. I can't wait!
